Are you based in Dallas or New York?

As of May 2020, I am Dallas based! However, I am still taking on weddings in the NYC market as well as destination weddings for 2020 and beyond. Additional travel costs will be built in to packages for all weddings more than 100 miles outside of Dallas.

Do you work alone on the wedding day?

While I would be your main point of contact, lead filmmaker, and editor, 99% of my wedding collections include a second shooter to film alongside me. Iʼve learned that the production quality of films greatly increases with a second set of eyes on the wedding day. I am very particular about who I have working with me. Not only do they need to be a pleasure to be around, but they need to be reliable, perceptive, and willing to take direction. You can be confident in the fact that the second shooter I hire will reflect me and the experience that I strive to deliver.

Are you insured?

Yes! Many venues will require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for up to a million dollars in liability coverage. I will be happy to provide that if you decide to move forward with me.

Can we choose our own music?

Unfortunately, no, but stick with me! Choosing music is often the most challenging part of the editing process for me. I typically spend hours, if not days, searching for the perfect fit for each couple. I license every song that is featured in my films. More often than not, mainstream music that youʼll hear on the radio is not available for licensing. If I were to use music without going through the proper channels to license it, I would put my company at risk of copyright infringement. The music that Iʼd use in your film would be found in an extensive library that Iʼve been using for years. That library has thousands upon thousands of high quality song selections across every genre that you can think of! What I will do is ask you questions about the type of music you are drawn to as well as the type of music that you donʼt care for. That, along with the inspiration I take from spending time with you will fuel the creative direction I take with your film.

How do I secure my wedding date?

All that is required to lock me down as your filmmaker is a signed contract and a non-refundable 30% reservation fee. It is a super seamless process than can be completed in no time. Due to my hands-on approach, I only take on one wedding per date and all bookings are handled on a first come, first serve basis. If youʼre ready to move forward, please reach out as soon as possible!

Do you offer drone coverage?

Yes! I love a good drone shot or two to help set the scene and increase the production value of a wedding film. All packages include drone coverage and donʼt require additional pricing. However, drone footage being incorporated in your film is not a guarantee. In the event of inclement weather or drone flying being prohibited (in a national/state park or near an airport), I wonʼt be able to fly it.
